Both honoured and proud to serve as the Mayor of Mosman, Ann Marie Kimber brings a wealth of professional experience and a deep commitment to public service to Council.

Ann Marie has called Mosman home for nearly 20 years. Alongside her husband Richard, she has raised their two children here and has actively contributed to the community throughout this time.

Holding an MBA and an Applied Science degree, Ann Marie’s expertise spans strategic planning, project management, business development, and marketing, equipping her with the professional expertise to drive positive change as Mayor.

She blends these professional qualities with exceptional people skills, a 'can do' attitude, and a genuine commitment to public service and community wellbeing.

A passionate sportsperson and coach, Ann Marie has been a proactive and effective advocate for Mosman, pivotal in leading the community campaign to build a new basketball court at Balmoral Oval.

Deputy Mayor Michael Randall – Transport & Environmental Advocate

Elected to Council in 2021, Michael chairs Council’s Active Transport Committee and is the Co-chair of Council’s Climate Action Community Committee.

Living in Mosman with his partner, Landy, and two teenage sons, Michael is steadfast in the belief that an independent Mosman Council best serves our community's interests.

With a leadership style that is driven by a dynamic blend of business acumen and public service, Michael is also passionate about retaining Mosman’s focus on youth-related well-being as the challenges and opportunities for our youth are close to his heart.

Seeking a second term in office as a Councillor, Michael is passionate about continuing to ensure Council sets and achieves benchmarks in sustainability and innovation, and remains committed to addressing climate change, particularly in light of the recent planning reforms mandated by the NSW government.

Councillor Carolyn Corrigan

Reflecting on the commitments she made to the community at the time of the last election campaign - to continue to deliver strong, positive consistent leadership confident in the knowledge that Mosman trusts her integrity, values her independence and believes in her commitment to our community – Carolyn has a deep sense of satisfaction knowing those commitments have been achieved.

Carolyn understands the importance of being a fair and genuine team player and recognises the value of team collaboration in addressing Mosman’s challenges and opportunities. Over two terms, Carolyn has led the Council through a sustained period of economic stability, overseen significant improvement to much-loved community assets and delivered a positive vision which re-assures and anchors both the Council and the community.

With a deep satisfaction after two terms in office, Carolyn recently announced she will not seek reelection as Mayor. However, with the desire to continue her contribution in public service, Carolyn is eager to offer her knowledge and expertise in the capacity as a Councillor to the newly elected 2024 Council.

Councillor Pip Friedrich - Disability Advocate

Elected to Council in 2021, Pip is currently Chair of Mosman Council’s Traffic Committee. Pip is also the alternate Chair for the Access and Mobility and Arts and Culture Committees and was, until very recently, a member of the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee.

The primary carer for a family member with disabilities, Pip served as Council’s community member for its Access and Mobility Committee for many years prior to being elected to Council.

The successful applicant for a $200,000 state government grant under the ‘My Community Project’ that resulted in the installation of fully accessible toilets at Mosman Junction, Pip is deeply committed to the needs for people with disabilities.

A 17 year-long volunteer with the Kahibah Creek Bushcare Group, Pip is also a keen bushwalker who treasures Mosman’s bushland.

A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and qualified accountant, Pip’s candidacy as a councillor in the 2024 election, offers Mosman her unwavering commitment to promoting inclusion and protecting Mosman’s precious environment.

Harley Van Der Pluijm, Serving Mosman

Harley Van Der Pluijm – Youth Ambassador

Serving Mosman’s youth ambassador, Harley Van Der Pluijm will bring a fresh approach and appreciation for youth issues and youth wellbeing to the Council table.

An award winning-debater, who currently coaches both the junior and senior debating teams at a local Mosman school, Harley is also a Life Saver instructor and in 2021 attended the national U19 rowing championships where his crew was placed third.

Currently studying commerce at the University of Sydney, Harley is keen to share his passion for active sports and contribute to social and environmental issues potentially affecting Mosman, such as protecting our precious marine life from degradation.

With strong interpersonal and communication skills, Harley takes pride in his ability to find common ground among a wide audience and makes a wonderful candidate as a youth leader and spokesperson .
